Rachel Rooney was born in Essex but
now lives in Brighton with her three sons, two dogs, two birds
and a cat. She trained and worked as a Primary and Special Needs
teacher but since being bitten by the 'poetry bug' two years
ago, now spends most of her time writing (or thinking about
writing) poetry.
She has already had a number of
poems published in children's poetry anthologies but this book
is her first solo collection. She is currently studying poetry
at Sussex University while working on her second collection. |
